Kvetch: "This isn't how you park your car"
Mom says to me, "You're very rude to the security guards posted at parking lots. They're just doing their job. You should treat them with a little more respect."
Yeah, right!
I dunno how they do it but the clout of obnoxious security guards always get on my nerves. There are EXCEPTIONS though. These guys are a rarity. The others (the majority) of them always cause some sort of annoyances or the other. They've no idea about cars' size/limitations or their owners' affection and concern.
I've had guards make me park and re-park my cars as if some they were artists painting a masterpiece and I was a bad brush unable to produce
that perfect stroke. I've had guards cram cars into parking lots as if they were researching new compression algorithms. Then there are drivers who so blindingly follow the directions given out by the guards that they 'accidently' reverse into my car leaving dents and scratches.
So many more reasons to cite... but my fingers ache after typing this using a mobile.
If drivers need to take licences before being LEGALLY allowed to drive cars, there should be tests for guards before they can LEGALLY give directions to them.
